After a slow start (we timed our arrival as theatre goers we all wanting to pay their bills) the service was fab! Our waiter was Jay, he was very friendly and chatty (but not so much that he wasn't doing his job efficiently!). Food was great, we'll be back!

I had the absolute pleasure of dining here on the 20th Feb at 7pm, the food was amazing but what made this experience excellent were the staff, in particular Kane, his customer service was 100% infact I did try to convince him to switch carers and work for myself but his loyalty to your company was there! If only I'd been a dreaded mystery shopper as that would have been 100% pass!!
In my experience of customer service Kane had the best ive seen in a long time, definitely manager material if he isnt one already!!
Fantastic food too!!
Will definitely recomend and re visit in the future

I've dined at Ego on a few occasions over the years and always had good food/service and an enjoyable experience. However, this weekend was altogether different. I ordered the Lamb Kleftiko, Lamb Shank, which I had been looking forward to for most of the previous week. We were informed that it would involve a 30 minute wait which was fine, when the dish arrived I was beyond disappointed. The Lamb itself had to be prized off the bone, in my experience this should never be the case, whenever I've ordered this dish previously it's literally fallen off the bone with very little encouragement. I persevered with this until I was about half way through the dish then gave in and concentrated on the vegetables that came with it. When I pointed this out to our waitress I was offered another one. As this would have involved another 30 minute wait and the rest of our party had started their meals it wasn't an option. Once I'd refused a replacement I was offered a complimentary side dish which once again I declined and at this point I was told that they'd sort something out on our bill before we left. This indeed was attended to and we didn't pay for our drinks, this gesture was appreciated but couldn't however make up for the disappointment felt when I received my main course. This review doesn't come from a place of bitterness/spite, I simply felt the need to let any future diners know about my experience as I wouldn't want anyone else to feel the disappointment I felt at the weekend.

Dermot really made our evening, he has a great sense of humour and made us laugh whilst offering an exceptional service, he was so good and nothing was too much trouble. An absolute asset to Ego. The food was really delicious and met our expectations

Booked for dinner before going to the theater, what a great dinning experience, a very aesthetically pleasing place with great decor and a superb vibe.
Menu was inventive and full of options, if you like medataranian food this is the place, with Greek, Italian and Turkish options.
The place was very busy but service was prompt and very professional.
All the food was superbly cooked and presentation was great.
All in all a great dinning experience.
Prices were very reasonable and all in all I can't find any faults with Ego at all.
We will all be back very soon and can't whole heartidly recommend Ego for anyone looking for a great Mediterranean eating adventure.
Top marks, keap it up.

The food was great, the service was excellent and for we had, the price was very reasonable.
I had heard mixed reviews about this restaurant so I was a little apprehensive, but I'm glad I kept the booking because it was a lovely night.

Service is usually great but on this occasion I think our order was forgotten. It took a while to come out and other tables that ordered after were served first. Not great with a toddler in tow. The food was really good though and the staff member was apologetic for the delay

The service at Ego was fantastic, Dermot was really personable and we felt really well attended to and looked after during our visit. Would reccomend!
